About Dr. Komi Frey

Founder of Verita Consulting 

Dr. Komi Frey is a visiting scholar of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she works to improve accountability in social science research. She has also led research at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) with the aim to promote intellectual pluralism in higher education.

Prior to founding Verita, Komi was an academic consultant for the University of California and a private admissions firm. She helped clients secure graduate positions in STEM, public policy, medicine, and law, along with fellowships, scholarships, and faculty appointments. 

Komi graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Davis, then earned her PhD in social psychology from the University of California, Riverside. During her doctoral training she received the country’s most competitive fellowship for STEM PhD students.
