About Dr. Komi Frey

Founder of Verita Consulting 

Dr. Frey graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Davis, then earned her PhD in social psychology from the University of California, Riverside. During her doctoral training she received the country’s most competitive fellowship for STEM PhD students. 

Dr. Frey is now a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, working to improve accountability in scientific research. She has also led research at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), where she advocated for freedom of speech and inquiry in higher education.

Prior to founding Verita, Dr. Frey was an academic consultant for the University of California and a private admissions firm, helping clients secure graduate positions in STEM, public policy, medicine, and law, along with fellowships, scholarships, and faculty appointments.
